Rwanda AgriBiotech Programme
Transforming Agriculture Through Biotechnology in Rwanda🥬 The Rwanda Agri-Biotech Programme – Cassava, Maize, and Potato (RABP-CMP) is advancing sustainable agriculture in Rwanda by developing improved crop varieties using modern biotechnology. Focused on cassava, maize, and potato, the program delivers disease-resistant, pest-resistant, and climate-resilient crops to support over 500,000 smallholder farmers. Combining scientific innovation, strong partnerships, and farmer-centered solutions, RABP-CMP is building a more resilient food system and strengthening national food security.
